The Curse of the Viking Grave
The Curse of the Viking Grave, by Farley Mowat, is a story about 3 boys (Jamie,Peetyuk and Angus) and 1 girl (Angeline). It is set in the Northwest Territories. They go out to a grave and find some special stuff from a person's grave. Then somebody starts to tell them it’s bad luck. They meet many tribes including some that are sick and dying. They try to help the tribes that are in need, while some tribes help them when they're in need.
I think Farley Mowat wrote the story because he likes the north and wants others to like the north. He wrote about how it was in different tribes with healthy tribes and sick tribes.
I liked the book. I liked the book because they met a lot of people and did not camp all the time. My favorite part was when they were canoeing the Big river. I think someone should read it if they really like the north.
